Creating a Proposal

Below the Quick view tab, you will find Your Proposal History. This displays all your proposals including those accepted, rejected, abstained and currently open. You can also filter by time frame and view the full proposal.

In this window you can also create a new proposals by clicking the “Create Proposal" Button. Selecting this will cause a new window to appear with more information.

To start: make sure that “Create by” displays the proper wallet address that you want associated with the proposal and then insert your title at the top. If you want to change the address, you can connect a different wallet by clicking on your wallet address in the top right corner of the screen.

Once ready, you can start selecting the specific property you wish to change. There are a variety of options to choose from. These include:

Periods

• Property Vote Period—The amount of time a vote to change the property state is open for.

• Stake Lock Period—The amount of time VAB tokens are locked when added to a staking pool.

• Film Board Removal Period—The amount of time to vote on removing an individual from the Film Board.

• Film Board Vote Period—The amount of time to vote on any changes to the Film Board.

• Pool Address Vote Period—The amount of time to vote on changes to the pool address.

Rates

• Daily Rewards Rate—The amount of daily rewards for staking

• Bonus Rewards Rate—The bonus reward amount for film that do extremely well in streaming rewards [more info to come]

• Percentage of Funding Fees—The amount of funding fees the DAO takes for film financing proposal raises.

• Max mint fee percent—The maximum percent fee Vab DAO takes for minting an NFT collection.

• Min Staker Count Percent—amount of stakers needed to vote on a proposal to pass

• Film Board Vote Weight—The percentage weight Film Board members have in voting on proposals.

• Film Board Reward Rate—The reward rate Film Board members receive on top of normal staking rewards.

Fees

• Proposal Fee Amount—The amount to submit a proposal to the DAO

• Min Support Amount—The minimum amount per individual on film financing proposals.

• Max Support Amount—The maximum amount per individual on film financing proposals.

• Auditor Replace Amount—The fee amount to submit an auditor change proposal

• Subscription Amount— The monthly fee rate for streaming content on Vabble Streaming.

Misc

• Film Board Member—Any changes to a particular film board member

• Update Auditor Address—To make a change to the auditor address

• Pool Address for V2—To update the pool address for V2 staking

What would you like to change this property to? From here you can enter the value of change you want to institute.

Why do you want to change this property of the Vab DAO? This is where you input your explanation for the proposal. This will be displayed publicly and be used to help users determine their decision on your proposal.

Once you are satisfied with the proposal, check the box and pay the fee associated with the proposal which is a $20 equivalent amount of VAB token.

You can then submit your proposal and it will be made available for all DAO members to vote on for 30 days. If you are not ready to submit, you can save it as a draft and access it at a later time.
